On his Twitter account, US President Donald Trump quickly criticized Pelosi, saying, "Crazy Nancy Pelosi is risking her reputation in order to make one hairdressing salon open, while the other salons are closed, and not put a muzzle, while she gives everyone lessons on this matter all the time."

Immediately, Pelosi defended herself by saying that she had followed the hairdresser's instructions and deemed she had been "plotted."

"Real men wear a muzzle," she said in response to Trump, who only appeared in public with a muzzle once in July.

And from the comments on the video, Kaya Jones said, "She shows Americans how indifferent she really is, isn't she the one putting off the stimulus package? I think hair care is more important than that."

"My mask covers my hair, so it must be removed to wash it," said Leslie Bloom. "Is this really the biggest problem we have in the world? To talk about what happens in a private, closed salon, about hairspray and shampoo?"

"I'm also sure she gave at least a generous tip so that someone could get cash this week," Linda Cardin quipped.

Stacia Levy tweeted, "4 more years like this, and students will later read about the United States of America in their history textbooks, specifically in the semester that follows Rome."
