In Beihai, Guangxi, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other places in Guangdong, they carried out simultaneous network collection operations, successfully disposing of a photoelectric material smuggling criminal gang, arresting 11 criminal suspects, and seizing about 6 tons of polarizers on the scene.
According to the police handling the case, the smuggling criminal gang used a Beihai company as the domestic consignee and a Hong Kong company as the overseas consignor, and entrusted a Beihai agent company to declare to Beihai Customs through the preparation of false contracts, invoices and other import documents , Smuggling imported optoelectronic materials such as liquid crystal display films and polarizers from Shenzhen at low prices.
After preliminary verification, since March 2019, the gang is suspected of smuggling imported optoelectronic materials such as 405,300 LCD panels and 355 tons of polarizers, with a case value of about 320 million yuan.
At present, the Nanning Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau has established a special case team to fully carry out case investigation and handling work, and strive to dig deeper and expand the line and expand the results.
