According to the police report and media reports, the basic facts of the case have become clear: the criminal suspect Liu Moumou, in his 50s, unmarried, is the victim's neighbor.
On the evening of August 29, he took the girl away while her family was unprepared, and sent her home early the next morning.
The girl has multiple injuries and is still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

The victimized girl suffered serious physical and mental injuries, and it would take a long time or even a lifetime to repair.

The third paragraph of Article 236 of the Criminal Law stipulates that “a person who rapes a woman or rapes an under-age girl shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment, life imprisonment or death of more than ten years in any of the following circumstances: 5) Cause serious injury, death or other serious consequences to the victim.” Judging from the current public information, the criminal suspect’s behavior meets the two situations (1) and (5). Once supported by evidence and judicial confirmation, the suspect will Receive criminal punishments of a minimum of ten years in prison and a maximum of death penalty.
This is the justice that the victimized girl deserves.
However, no matter how severe the punishment the perpetrator is, it cannot fully compensate for the damage suffered by the victim.
From the perspective of the victim, the ideal situation is that the case does not occur.
To achieve this ideal state, two aspects of work are essential: one is to crack down on crimes and give full play to the deterrent function of penalties to curb the criminal impulse to try the law; Take the opportunity.
