Forging a train ticket takes less than 10 minutes

Real reimbursement caused rampant online sales of fake tickets

Recently, a China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily reporter conducted a survey on online e-commerce platforms and found that many Internet trading platforms have become paradise for “ticket dealers”.

Forged tickets have become a certificate for some people to reimburse their units. Such "reimbursement artifacts" have a huge sales volume.

Legal workers reminded that speculative buyers and sellers of counterfeit tickets have actually been suspected of crimes.

"30 yuan a ticket, send SF Express freight collect, high imitation, you can scan the QR code information..." After a set of proficient opening remarks, a seller who provided customized train tickets asked reporters to send their name, ID number, Selected shift information.

In less than 10 minutes, a "fake ticket" exactly like the high-speed rail ticket was made.

Light blue ticket bottom, high-speed train logo, vehicle schedule information, personal identification information, etc. are all available.

"This is a highly imitation ticket. The two-dimensional code in the lower right corner can also scan the ticket information, but it can only be used for reimbursement, not the car." The ticket vendor said.

After receiving the ticket, a reporter from China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily scans the QR code on the ticket. After the content jumps, the interface displays the number of the first and last train, the location of the ticket gate, seat class and seat number and other information.

A note at the bottom of the page: "The query result is provided by 12306, for reference only, and the accurate information is subject to the station announcement", which is exactly the same as the scanned original ticket.

Through comparison, it is found that there is still a difference between fake tickets and real tickets.

For example, the paper material of fake tickets is relatively thin, while the real tickets feel thick and more textured.

The font of the information on the fake ticket is slightly different from the real ticket, but it is difficult to identify without careful comparison.

A financial officer of a company in Suzhou told a reporter from China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily that although there is a set of reimbursement system procedures, it is difficult to distinguish the true from the false with the naked eye when the ticket is obtained.

The reporter searched on a second-hand trading platform and found that many shops indicated that they could sell "customized tickets."

One seller emphasized that only expired tickets should be made. Even if the train has not started at the time of purchase, it will definitely guarantee that the ticket has expired when it is delivered to the customer.

Allegedly, this is to prevent customers from taking them to ride in the car, "If something goes wrong, we are in trouble. The policy is tight and the investigation is strict, so we will not take orders."

The seller also stated that many people bought the tickets because they lost their bills on frequent business trips, or were unable to issue receipts for certain expenses, which resulted in no reimbursement.

"Every time a new customer finds me, I will ask who recommended it. After all, this is a big risk."

Another seller said that he only does “acquaintance business” or “recommendation of old customers”. Buyers and sellers become a community of interests, forming a mature transaction chain.

"Moreover, if the amount is too large, it is not accepted, just to play the legal side ball."

Yang Qiang (pseudonym), 29, is a "ticket vendor" who manufactures and sells expired tickets.

In December last year, he was taken back to Nanjing from his hometown of Xi'an by Nanjing Railway Police.

The reporter interviewed Yang Qiang at the Nanjing Railway Detention Center.

Once, when a passenger asked the taxi driver Yang Qiang if he had a train ticket, Yang Qiang started to think, "Making and selling train tickets may be like someone asking me to ask for an invoice. It is not a dangerous thing."

In January 2019, he began to purchase related production tools such as printers and blank boards online, and download related production software for learning and trial production.

With the mentality of giving it a try, he started selling homemade fake tickets online.

At the beginning, business was cold, with only one or two orders a month.

As customers introduced each other, Yang Qiang gradually tasted the sweetness of making and selling train tickets.

By the time he was arrested, he had sold about 200 fake train tickets.

A fake ticket can be sold for 20 to 30 yuan, and the cost of each ticket is only about 6 yuan.

Excluding postage, he made more than 4,000 yuan by making and selling fake train tickets.

Yang Qiang, who was in the detention center, regretted it and thought that he was greedy for small gains and embarked on the path of crime.

In fact, whether it is the Criminal Law or the Public Security Administration Penalty Law, there are detailed regulations not to forge or sell tickets.

Zhou Hao, a lawyer at Beijing Weiheng Law Firm, said that for acts of buying fake fakes, using fake financial reimbursements, or reporting low prices, once the tax has been verified and the amount reaches a certain amount, the parties will also constitute fraud.

The company's use of fake invoices to report accounts will also be punished after random checks by relevant departments.

For forgery or reselling of forged valuable tickets with a face value of more than 5,000 yuan or an illegal profit of more than 2,000 yuan will be sentenced to two to seven years in prison and a fine.

Zhou Hao analyzed that the rampant reselling of expired tickets shows that objectively there are still large numbers of tickets purchased for financial reimbursement.

To improve or avoid such crimes, perfecting the financial management of companies and units is the fundamental strategy.

Because it is difficult to distinguish fake tickets, it is difficult for the financial personnel of the unit to distinguish between true and false, requiring employees to issue a letter of commitment or imposing certain penalties, which may change.

Zhou Hao suggested that, in terms of supervision and supervision, relevant departments should further increase the difficulty of anti-counterfeiting of tickets, and the public security organs should also increase crackdowns and crackdowns, and strengthen normalized management measures.
