A bus driver was beaten up in the face, near Rouen, after refusing to stop between two stops, we learned Thursday from the Seine-Maritime prefecture.

“Tuesday September 2 at 11:30 pm in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, a public transport driver of the TCAR suffered the violence of four individuals whom he had not allowed to get off outside the planned stops.

The attackers crossed the protection separating them from the driver, then struck him multiple times in the face, ”the prefecture announced in a statement.

The victim was taken to hospital.

None of the four protagonists was arrested, according to the police.
