[Explanation] On September 2, the Organ Transplantation Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University successfully performed six transplant operations. The six transplanted organs were from the same donor, Xiaobin, a 16-year-old boy in Pingnan County, Guangxi.

Not long ago, Xiaobin was seriously injured in a car accident and fell into a deep coma. He died of brain death shortly afterwards.

At the last moments of Xiaobin’s life, Xiaobin’s parents decided to donate Xiaobin’s six organs, including his heart, lungs, and liver, to those in desperate need. They saved four lives with selfless love and let Xiaobin’s life be used another way. The way realizes the continuation.

  [Explanation] At 8 am on September 1, in the intensive care unit of Pingnan County People's Hospital, doctors performed the final physical examination on Xiaobin.

At around 10 o'clock, doctors and nurses from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University and Hepingnan County People's Hospital sent Xiao Bin to an air rescue helicopter.

At 12:44 noon, the helicopter landed steadily on the apron of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.

  I contacted his parents. They said that although the decision was painful, they thought that they could save more people and that their son could survive in this world in other ways. They felt that donating (organs) was acceptable. of.

  [Explanation] At about 10 o'clock on September 2, the first heart transplant operation began. Xiao Bin's heart was transplanted into a 15-year-old girl suffering from severe myocarditis.

At 10:10, lung transplantation, combined liver-kidney transplantation, and combined pancreas-kidney transplantation operations began one after another. Through the multidisciplinary collaboration of more than 100 medical staff, 4 operations ended smoothly before 19:00.

  From a global scale, including our domestic scale, it is of course relatively rare for a donor to be so fully utilized.

Therefore, our entire team uses such a large-scale, or corps-level combat model, to make full use of these donated organs and save as many patients as possible who need organ transplants.
