[Explanation] On September 3, Anhui Province's first autonomous vehicle 5G open road demonstration line-Tangxi River Intelligent Networked Vehicle Demonstration Line Project, Baohe District, Hefei City, was officially opened and ushered in the first batch of experience passengers.

 [Commentary] The reporter saw at the scene that more than a dozen new energy vehicle manufacturers, including Baidu, Volkswagen, and Jianghuai, as well as intelligent networked vehicle technology companies participated, and 12 domestic and foreign first-tier manufacturers provided trial ride experience.

During the driving process, the self-driving vehicle performs real-time positioning, realizes the functions of automatically identifying traffic lights and avoiding pedestrians in time.

 [Explanation] It is understood that the demonstration line is formed by the combination of Luzhou Avenue, Fangxing Avenue, Huizhou Avenue and Zhongshan Road in Baohe District, Hefei City, with a total length of 4.4 kilometers and a circular loop.

The main construction content includes 5G network coverage, road sensing equipment installation, roadside traffic facilities upgrade, cloud platform control center construction, 5G scene application construction, exhibition hall construction and other "six major sectors".

 The interiors of these 12 cars are all intelligently installed and upgraded, which means that this car is completely our mobile "mobile phone". The calculations in it, the instructions in it, and the data generated in it, including our generation Some information of these mobile terminals can be reflected in the car terminal.

 [Explanation] It is understood that unmanned driving only relies on sensors, and the field of view is limited to 100 meters to 300 meters, and the blessing of 5G technology is equivalent to the perception of "clairvoyance".

At the same time, the ultra-low latency of the 5G network allows the "car brain" to receive instructions in real time, which can greatly improve the safety of operation.

 Because without the construction of 5G and the architecture of 5G, it will not be able to form our smart connected car. This car is very Smart, but the end of the road is not connected, but now it is connected to two ports, one cloud, in fact all three are connected.

 [Explanation] It is understood that the new energy vehicle and intelligent networked vehicle industry is a strategic emerging industry that Hefei focuses on fostering.

At present, Hefei has formed a complete industrial system with complete types and complete supporting facilities. Through the construction of application scenarios of 5G demonstration lines, it will promote the innovation and application of key technologies for autonomous driving and vehicle-road collaboration.

 We will also expand the 4.4 kilometers next, because Baohe District has other projects, which means that more of these routes will be renovated in the future, and then the demonstration area will be expanded, and then it may be possible from behind 4.4 kilometers. There will be 50 kilometers and 60 kilometers.

Then not only Baohe District, but the area behind Hefei, like Volkswagen, which is in the Economic Development Zone, it also made a demonstration route of 80 kilometers.

And the country is actually doing these demonstrative transformations now. Its purpose is to say that there are smart cars and there are smart roads, so now cars and roads are developed in coordination.
