No reopening date for the moment.

The closure of a nursery in Couserans, in Ariège, due to the discovery of a positive case of coronavirus, was confirmed Wednesday evening by the prefecture and the regional health agency.

The authorities do not quote the establishment but, according to

La Dépêche du Midi

, it would be a multi-reception crèche in the small town of Oust, whose staff and families were notified Tuesday evening.

The prefecture wants to be reassuring.

"The situation is managed and controlled by the health authorities", she indicates, specifying that the reopening will take place only after "application of the protocol for disinfection of the premises".

She takes this case as proof that "the virus continues to circulate" and calls more than ever for compliance with instructions and barrier gestures.

Only one patient hospitalized so far

The Ariège listed, in the latest ARS bulletin, only one hospitalization due to Covid-19, that of a patient in intensive care.

According to Public Health France, the incidence rate in the department is 24.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, against 53.8 for example in Haute-Garonne, now located in the red zone.

The prefect, Chantal Mauchet, must take stock this Thursday evening on the evolution of the health situation.
