“Public and private sector strengthens space investment” Government round-table conference draft report September 4 5:02

The government's round-table conference overlooking the future use of space is highly expected that the business in the space will become concrete by 30 years and it will drive the economic growth of Japan. We have compiled a draft report that says we should strengthen our investment.

The government gathered a wide range of experts, including persons in charge of industry and people with academic background, to set up a round-table conference, and put together a draft report that anticipates the use of space by the next 30 years.

As a result, as the launch cost of the rocket decreases, it may become possible to establish a business to transport the moon's scarce resources to the earth, and tourists visiting the moon can expect it.

We also anticipate that businesses such as removing space debris and repairing artificial satellites in outer space, as well as services such as hotel construction and sightseeing in outer space, will be embodied.

Then, such a future image is conceived as a real business, and a huge amount of investment has already been made in the United States, and automobile manufacturers and construction companies are beginning to develop business activities aiming for business opportunities in Japan.

Given this, it is highly expected that the era of the space industry will drive Japan's economic growth, and it is important that the space industry always be at the forefront of space development. We recommend that it be strengthened.

These contents will be further examined at the round-table conference on the 4th and will be useful for future space development.
