Han Zhanguo, who was born in 1977, liked art since he was a child. He said that his relationship with "Melon Seed Painting" was purely accidental.

This year just passed the epidemic period, because I saw other people posting melon seeds (paintings) on Douyin, and later (I) tentatively made one. After posting (on the Internet), the reaction was pretty good, and then I started. It's done.
This is my first work. The title is Respect to Academician Zhong Nanshan. He compares Academician Zhong Nanshan to an eagle, and hopes that he can lead us to fight the epidemic as soon as possible.
[Explanation] According to Han Zhanguo, the melon seed shells knocked out of the mouth cannot be used for painting. To paint, he bought a melon seed peeler from the Internet. The peeled melon seed shells need to be disinfected and antisepticized before they can be used after drying.
When painting, first lay out the pattern with the melon seed shell, and then fix it with glue.
Han Zhanguo said that it takes patience to make melon seed paintings. He is usually careful when painting, and he doesn't even dare to show the atmosphere.

Because the melon seed shell is very light, after the position is set up, if you say that you are out of the air, the position (of the melon seed shell) will change. Once the position changes, it will be a waste of work.

At present, Han Zhanguo has produced more than a dozen melon seeds paintings, the works are mainly animal themes and landscape paintings.
In addition to making melon seed paintings, Han Zhanguo also tried to make some stop motion animations using melon seed paintings. These works were also very popular after being posted on the Internet.
