On September 2, the asphalt of the Su (Sunan, Gansu) and Qi (Qinghai Qilian) highway G213, which was constructed by the Fourth Bureau of China Railway, was officially paving, marking the highest elevation mark for the “throat” of Gansu to Qinghai along the “Belt and Road” route. The section officially entered the road construction stage, laying the foundation for the scheduled opening to traffic.
China Railway Fourth Bureau undertook the construction task of 3639 meters in length for the 5th section of Suqi Highway. The average elevation of this section is about 4200 meters. It is currently one of the highest roads under construction in China and the highest altitude section of Suqi Highway. .
