"We will never give up," said Riss, the weekly's director. 

Charlie Hebdo republishes the cartoons of Muhammad who had made him a target of jihadists, the newspaper announced Tuesday before the opening of the trial of the attack which killed 12 in its editorial staff in January 2015.

"We will never go to bed. We will never give up," explains the director of the satirical weekly, Riss, in the number whose cover includes these cartoons, on newsstands Wednesday and available online Tuesday at noon.
