According to information from

La Provence

, the start of the school year has been postponed in two colleges in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence due to the coronavirus epidemic.

An agent from André Ailhaud college in Volx and another assigned to Henri-Laugier college in Forcalquier have indeed tested positive for Covid-19 last Friday.

As a result, the 800 students from these two establishments will not return to their classrooms until Thursday.

According to our colleagues from the regional daily, the canteen will not be in service in these two colleges until next Monday.

Invited on BFMTV and RMC this Tuesday, the Minister of National Education Jean-Michel Blanquer affirmed that "all schools, colleges and high schools are open".
