Two house fires found in the body of a father or daughter of a junior high school student Nagano Kiso Town August 31 14:41

At dawn on the 31st, there was a fire that burned down one house in Kiso Town, Nagano Prefecture, and two people were found dead from the burn marks. According to the police, five families live in this house, and the identity of the father in his 50s and the daughter of a junior high school student is unknown after a fire, so the police are confirming their identities.

At around 3:30 am on the 31st, when a house of Mr. Akira Shimojima (54), Mitake, Kiso-machi, Nagano Prefecture, was burning, a neighbor reported to the fire department.

The fire was extinguished approximately four and a half hours later, but police said that a two-story wooden house was completely burned down, and two people were found dead from the burn marks.

According to the police, there are five family members living in this house, and the whereabouts of Shimojima-san and her junior high school daughter are lost after a fire.

A 50-year-old wife and a 16-year-old son were taken to a hospital, but the degree of injury was mild and the mother in her 70s was not injured.

The site is a village in a mountain area away from the center of the town, and the police believe that the two people who have died have disappeared, and are confirming their identities and investigating the cause of the fire.
