A kite pulls a child in the air in Taiwan
A Taiwanese girl, caught by a blue kite string, escaped and flew 10 meters into the air before falling to the ground.
The 3-year-old girl was participating in the "Hsinchu City International Kite Festival" in the coastal town of "Nanlio" when she got stuck in a giant kite, wrapping the tail of the plane around the girl and lifting it about 10 meters in the air.
Video footage on the social networking site "Facebook" showed the child rising and swinging in the air for a few seconds before falling to the ground, while panicked spectators rushed to help her, and were already able to catch her. The child was not physically injured.
The Hsinchu city government immediately suspended the kite festival, and promised to implement the safety review.
