Yamagata Sagae Special grape picking started August 31 at 4:21

In Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture, this season's business has begun at a vineyard orchard that is about to enter the season, and tourists enjoyed grape hunting while taking measures against new coronavirus infection.

In Sagae City, we are focusing on the cultivation of large-sized grapes such as "Kyoho" and "Suiho", and more than 1000 people visit the two tourist orchards in the city every year.

Among them, the tourist orchard, which opened this season from the 28th of this month, visited the tourist orchard on the 30th as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus infection, where temperature measurements and contact information were completed.

Alcohol was sterilized in the garden, and when the bags and scissors for the skins and seeds were handed over, the visitors picked up the grapes one after another, and enjoyed the fresh sweetness.

An elementary school student in Yamagata City who visited the orchard said, "It's delicious. I feel like I'm going to fill up my stomach in one cell."

The Sagae city grape orchard is planned to open until early October.
