Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - Starface

As the US presidential election is fast approaching, Meghan Markle is fiercely campaigning to recall the importance of the vote, and especially that of women. A subject that she had the chance to discuss with the feminist icon Gloria Steinem, whom she visited, with her two dogs, in the garden of her house.

Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex and @GloriaSteinem discuss representation, why each vote matters and how all women “are linked, not ranked.” MAKERS has an exclusive look at that historic backyard chat! 🙌 Q&A to come tomorrow! Https: // t .co / e0WY2hjTju pic.twitter.com/AExOmNdWIb

“If you don't vote, you don't exist. This is the only place where we are all equal: the voting booth. What worries me the most are young people, who I understand are the least likely to vote. I can understand that they feel like they are having no impact. Yet it is more important for them to vote than for anyone else because they will live long after me and they will suffer the consequences, ”said the 86-year-old activist, during this discussion filmed by Makers Woman.

A break

In recent weeks, Meghan Markle has completely broken with the political neutrality that members of the British royal family are supposed to demonstrate. Indeed, beyond calling for the vote of American citizens, the Duchess of Sussex did not hesitate to affirm that she would go to the voting booth herself.

Finally, by claiming to be a supporter of "change", she left little doubt as to the candidate she will choose next November.
