  At 12:50 on the 30th, the Lushan County Meteorological Observatory updated the orange rainstorm warning signal [2020] No. 28 issued at 12:10 on the 30th to rainstorm red. The rainfall in Baosheng Township, Lushan County has reached more than 100 mm in 3 hours, and heavy rainfall (above 20 mm/h) may continue.

  According to the data provided by the Sichuan Ya'an Hydrology and Water Resources Survey Bureau, from 20:00 on the 29th to 7:00 on the 30th, due to heavy rainfall, various rivers of the Qingyi River experienced different levels of water upsurges. Mingshan River, Yingjing River, Tianquan River, Zhougong River, the largest one-hour rainfall occurred at Mingshan Station, Mingshan District. Rainfall was 57.5 mm. There were 21 stations with accumulated rainfall exceeding 50 mm in 3 hours, and the largest one occurred at Mingshan Station, Mingshan District. The rainfall is 122.0 mm.

  It is understood that this rainfall caused some rivers to rise. During the flood, there were two stations with over-alarm water levels, namely Mingshan Station and Mengshan Station. Among them, Mingshan Station had over-reserved water levels. The maximum flow of Mingshan River at Mingshan Station occurred at 4:25 on the 30th. The highest water level observed was 591.61 meters, and the corresponding flow was 323 cubic meters per second, which was 0.21 meters higher than the guaranteed water level. At 4:10 on the 30th, Mingshan River Mengshan Station observed a maximum water level of 628.49 meters, which was 0.19 meters higher than the warning water level and 0.21 meters lower than the guaranteed water level.

  At present, rainfall has caused the temporary closure of Leya Expressway Caoba, Dongyue and Hongya toll stations. The slope of the famous expressway at 107 kilometers from Ya'an to Chengdu (Xindian hub to Baizhanghu toll station section) has landslides.
