A peak of 263 kilometers of cumulative slowdowns was noted by Bison Futé at midday of Saturday, a day classified as red at the national level on the roads of France in the sense of returning from vacation.
The main traffic difficulties recorded are located in the Rhône valley, according to the road information center. The main axes are loaded on the highways close to the Mediterranean arc (A75 - 14 km, N109-13km, A8 - 10km), in the great west and the north (N17 - 12 km, N844-12km, N136-11km) and in the South West (A630-13km, A10 - 11km).
Sunday will also be difficult, maybe even worse than Saturday on some axes. Bison Futé notes, however, that many holidaymakers had anticipated their returns to prepare for the start of the school year, which will take place on Tuesday.
The day, red in the direction of the returns, is on the other hand, and to everyone's surprise, classified green at the national level in the direction of the departures.
