The wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, confirmed that the social development in the Emirate of Sharjah, and its positive effects on various aspects of life and members of society, came as a result of joint institutional work that began more than Over 40 years of support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who directed the necessity of establishing institutions that embrace the aspirations of the community’s members in the emirate and express them in various fields.
Her Highness’s statements came during an interview moderated by Salha Ghabsh, Head of the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, at the “We” forum, which was organized (remotely) by the Executive Office of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, in cooperation with the “Reyada” Center, the educational arm of the institutions that It operates under the leadership of Her Highness.
The forum gathered the workforce in the 33 institutions that serve four societal sectors, developing the talents and capabilities of children, adolescents and youth, uplifting society and providing family counseling, creating an attractive and supportive environment for women, in addition to promoting charitable work and charity.
Her Highness said: “Since the beginning of the march of the Emirate of Sharjah, I realized the importance of having institutions that embrace women, girls and children in the emirate, and pave the way for them towards partnership in its renaissance and prosperity. Of all ages, which reinforced the distinguished presence of women in Sharjah's development scene.
Her Highness indicated that the renaissance of societies requires the existence of institutions that deal with various social groups of all ages, to take care of their affairs and needs, and pave the way for them to contribute to the advancement of their societies, especially children.
