But in the next few months, there were more than a dozen problems with the control system of this elevator. Either the elevator door could not close, or it could not be opened.
On July 13 this year, the technical department of Juli Elevator Company sent the second elevator inverter to Mr. Gu’s home for installation and commissioning. The dealer maintenance personnel of Juli Company came to replace it. After testing by the dealer and the owner, the elevator was jittered during operation, but it still did not reach the normal operating conditions. The frequency conversion control system is equivalent to the "center" of the elevator, once a problem occurs, it will directly affect the elevator safety.
Yu Xiaoli, deputy general manager of the in-use elevator business department of Juli Company, said that when Ms. Wu was trapped in the accident, the elevator was still in the debugging stage, and the manufacturer did not send technicians to carry out the “factory inspection”. Regarding Mr. Gu’s elevator trapping incident, Yu Xiaoli admitted that it was indeed caused by a malfunction of the elevator's frequency conversion control system, but she also stated that it was an emergency brake of the elevator, and the purpose was to protect the people in the elevator. Mr. Gu once approached the market supervision department of Xinkai Street, Nantong Development Zone, where the elevator sales company is located, and hoped that the local consumer association would organize a tripartite negotiation, but the elevator company said there was no time to participate in the negotiation.
