American scientists create a battery that works for 28 thousand years

American engineers decided to use radioactive waste after treatment, particularly radiocarbon-14, as a source of energy in electric batteries that can serve for 28 thousand years.

They announced that they will cover the core of the electric battery with a layer of polycrystalline artificial diamonds. They recalled that diamonds like these, which were grown in laboratory conditions, are the most durable and electrically conductive materials, as they prevent radiation from passing through them. They can never be destroyed.

It is also possible for a person, according to engineers, to transport a battery equipped with such a solid heart in his pocket without exposing himself to the risk of radiation injury. Moreover, the battery will work for 28 thousand years.

It is noteworthy that the nano-diamond battery is capable, according to engineers, of producing electrical energy that is 3.48 times the capacity of the classic A-battery, and that its size is 53.4% smaller than the size of the classic battery. As for its weight, it does not differ from the weight of a regular battery.

Meanwhile, the engineers announced that this electrical technical miracle could not be applied until after they had collected sufficient funds to establish the "Start Up" company and realize the project later.

They said they intend to show the public their innovative battery in two years.
