In 2005, Cheng Yunxia graduated from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Because her husband was from Jiayuguan, she chose to work in Jiuquan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and she has since taken root in this Gobi Desert. When she first started working in the steel production line, she had to face molten steel at around 1500℃ every day. In addition to high temperature, there was dust.

[Explanation] In 2020, in response to changes in the market, demand, and structure brought about by the epidemic prevention and control, Jiugang Group established a full-time project team for the development of antibacterial stainless steel products on February 18 to accelerate the development of antibacterial stainless steel products. In order to develop new products as soon as possible, Cheng Yunxia and her colleagues began to work overtime.
In the project team, Cheng Yunxia is one of the few girls, but she is also a famous "three sisters desperately". When she needs to send samples, she will carry dozens of kilograms of samples to the courier company.

The self-reliance cycle of our stainless steel products is relatively long. It takes one month for regular orders and nearly one month for regular products. [Explanation] After nearly 3 months of hard work, Cheng Yunxia and his team members developed ferritic antibacterial stainless steel, which passed the test of the Antibacterial Material Testing Center of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The antibacterial rate exceeded 99%, which can effectively inhibit common Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., became the first domestic company to produce 430 type antibacterial stainless steel.
