Among the category B infectious diseases, infectious atypical pneumonia, polio, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, diphtheria and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza have no morbidity or death reports. The remaining 22 category B infectious diseases have reported a total of 300,776 cases. 1927 deaths were reported. The top 5 diseases with reported incidences were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea, and bacterial and amoebic dysentery, accounting for 95% of the total reported cases of Type B infectious diseases. From 0:00 on July 1 to 24:00 on July 31, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 803 confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia, and no death cases were reported.
During the same period, there were no reports of filariasis or death among the category C infectious diseases, and a total of 170,675 cases of the remaining 10 category C infectious diseases were reported, and 3 deaths were reported. The top 3 diseases with reported incidences were other infectious diarrheal diseases, hand-foot-mouth disease and influenza, accounting for 92% of the total number of reported cases of Category C infectious diseases.
