In Côte d'Ivoire two months before the presidential election, the climate remains tense since the announcement by Alassane Ouattara of his intention to run for a third term. It is in this context that the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) continues to prepare for the ballot. After having enrolled more than 900,000 new voters, it “processes” the electoral list. Laurent Gbagbo and Guillaume Soro in particular paid the price and were struck off due to convictions by the courts. The opposition which was granted an additional seat in the CEI a few months ago still refuses to sit there. RFI receives Ibrahim Coulibaly-Kuibiert, President of the CEI.
