Is it possible to make the inhabitants of Crimea fall in love with Ukraine with a big, bright and pure love? Official Kiev is not just sure that it is possible. They even came up with a 100% effective way to achieve the desired goal. According to Ukrainian officials, only a little is needed for this: to force the Crimeans to suffer from thirst. Sounds like something from the repertoire of clients of an insane asylum? Welcome to today's Kiev - a city whose politicians "confuse" love and hate, love and compulsion.
I briefly outline the history of the issue. One of the main problems of Crimea is the lack of its own water sources. Until 2014, this problem was solved by supplying the missing volume of life-giving moisture through the North Crimean canal running from the Dnieper. However, after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Kiev decided to punish the "obstinate" inhabitants of the peninsula by tightly "turning the valve" of the water supply. In 2020, due to a severe drought, the problem of water shortage in Crimea became especially acute. In Simferopol, water supply is now carried out according to a special schedule. Think about the drama behind this dry bureaucratic wording! We are all accustomed to: to get drunk or take a shower, just turn the tap at any hour of the day or night. But because of the "humane" position of official Kiev, residents of the main city of Crimea are deprived of such an opportunity!
It would seem that fate itself grants Ukraine the opportunity to make a beautiful gesture. Like, look how kind and noble we are! Look how sincerely we care about the well-being of the inhabitants of the Crimean peninsula, who are now "exhausted under the yoke of the Russian occupation!" Look, with what generosity and spiritual care we come to their aid in times of need and satisfy their need for one of the basic "human rights and freedoms" - the ability to quench their thirst, not counting every drop of precious moisture! But instead, they took a different position in Kiev: until you, arrogant and insidious cheaters, return to Mother Ukraine, there is no water for you and there will not be!
Of course, Ukrainian officials do not express themselves so bluntly in public. But this does not change the essence of their statements. The holder of the title "Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea" Anton Korinevich: "The position of both the representative of the President and the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is unambiguous, does not change and will not change - water cannot be supplied to Crimea until the de-occupation of the Crimean Peninsula."
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov: “The Crimean population is provided with water, there really are no problems with water for the Crimean population. There is enough water there for the needs of the population. The fact that there is no water for industry is another matter. The position is very simple: when there is Ukrainian production there, when there is Ukraine there, there will certainly be Ukrainian water ”.
When I got acquainted with these "kind" statements of Ukrainian politicians, I got the feeling that I had already read something similar somewhere. At first I couldn't figure out exactly where. But then it dawned on me.
I already read something similar in the famous parable about the judgment of King Solomon: “Once two women came to King Solomon, famous for his wisdom. They were neighbors and both recently had a baby. Last night, one of them crushed her baby and planted it on another woman, and took the live one from that one. In the morning, the women began to argue. Each one proved that the living child was hers, and the dead one was her neighbors. So they argued before the king.
After listening to them, Solomon ordered to bring a sword. When this order was fulfilled, the king announced his decision: “May both be satisfied. Cut a living child in half and give each half of the baby. " One of the women immediately prayed: "Give the child to my neighbor, she is his mother!" Another woman, on the other hand, immediately readily agreed with the king's decision. And then Solomon said: “You don't have to kill the child. Give it to the first woman. She is his real mother! "
I do not think that this parable needs further decoding in relation to Crimea. Everything is already very clear. In words, Ukraine is trying in every possible way to prove that Crimea is its “child”. But the deeds of the Ukrainian authorities testify to something completely different. I wanted to write that Ukraine behaves like an evil stepmother towards Crimea, but, fortunately, I managed to stop in time. Even the most evil stepmothers do not behave like that!
Only absolutely outsiders with a petrified heart behave this way, who see in the “child” not a person, but only a commodity, property. Pronouncing the usual ritual phrases about the "Russian occupation of Crimea", Ukrainian officials, at some level of consciousness, are perfectly aware of the fact that there has never been any "Russian occupation of Crimea". Occupation is the establishment of someone else's power. Occupation is what causes rejection and resistance. But it was the Ukrainian government that was “alien” to Crimea!
Latently feeling that it was wrong, but not wanting to admit it openly, official Kiev is trying in every possible way to punish the inhabitants of Crimea and, to calm its own conscience, continues to call it "love." However, torture is not love at all, but its direct opposite. Tell someone about this Zelensky!
