The Community of Madrid has finally suspended the bullfighting fair scheduled in Alcalá de Henares on August 28, 29 and 30 for "prudence", after analyzing the epidemiological evolution of COVID-19 in this Madrid town.
"This puts an end to the situation of uncertainty generated around the celebration of this celebration, which may be held once the epidemiological situation in the area improves and the obligations related to public health established by current regulations are fulfilled" , informs the regional government in a statement.
The bullfighting fair scheduled in the bullring of Alcalá de Henares, with a total capacity for 8,500 seated spectators and about whose risk the City Council had warned, had been authorized by the General Directorate of Security of the Community of Madrid this Wednesday , at the expense of epidemiological evolution in the area.
