"I said to myself 'we will find a solution, we will suggest that I go and remove it in a locker room.' The assistant manager arrived and told me I could leave. I said to myself too bad, I'm going to go and change in my car, my client was waiting for me, ”explains the lawyer who deplores that the rights of the defense were not taken into account as well as the tone of the conversation .
She decided to seize the president, but also the general controller of places of deprivation of liberty already seized on a case similar to the prison of Fresnes. “He then said that it was up to the remand center to find a solution. It could be a search carried out by a woman or even a passage through a metal detector as in airports. We do not prevent someone from getting on a plane for that, ”explains Stella Bisseuil, who does not question the issue of security but pleads for the rights of the defense.
No palpations possible
Asked by 20 Minutes , the interregional direction of the prison services of Toulouse does not wish to "respond by media", while specifying that "the security rules had been respected". “It was she herself who made the decision to return to her vehicle to remove her bra. Contrary to the regulations in airports, we are not authorized to perform palpations on people, ”Stéphane Gély, the interregional director, told La Dépêche du Midi for his part .
