A women's council in the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi
The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi announced the formation of the Women's Council in the department, which comes in recognition of its distinguished female cadres.
The department said in a tweet on "Twitter", today, that the council aims to support women and activate their role in the sustainable development process, enable female employees to improve performance, and support the creative and professional path of female employees.
The department stated that the council will undertake several tasks, including overseeing strategies, policies and plans related to the development and leadership of Emirati women in the department, and preparing plans in order to devote the capabilities and energies of Emirati women and invest them in taking the leading role in decision-making, learning and growth in line with global developments.
