Recently, the news that Guangdong college entrance examination student Cao spent 3,000 yuan forged Tsinghua University admission notice has attracted widespread attention. A few days ago, a reporter from China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily conducted a survey on the online e-commerce platform and found that many businesses indicated that they could customize college admission notices. Not only that, second-generation ID cards, vocational qualification certificates, college student IDs, and even veterans certificates and disabled IDs can all be customized.

On August 20th, when reporters from China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily searched for keywords such as "university admission notice" and "customized admission notice" on Taobao, Xianyu and other platforms, the mobile client displayed "I am very sorry that no relevant baby was found." . Use "admission notice design" as a keyword to search, and a large number of related products will appear.

Many shops claim that admission notices for college, undergraduate, and postgraduates can be customized, and some product display pages are attached with the cover of admission notices for many universities.

The reporter randomly selected one of them, and the prompt content on its homepage showed, "This baby is a one-to-one personal customized product, please contact customer service. The privately photographed products will not be shipped." The reporter also contacted the customer service of many stores, many of which will pop up an automatic reply message, and most of the content is to guide consumers to add the WeChat account of the customer service staff before conducting the transaction. The word "WeChat" is often converted into alternative words such as "Wei" and "薇訫". The message sent by an online shop called "Quick Print" is more suggestive: "Yes! Hello! You have everything you want, you know... and customer feedback videos."

Several customer service staff said that the fake college admission notices and student IDs are highly similar to the originals. If consumers provide templates for merchants to refer to, the similarity can be improved, and the price is mostly 220-320 yuan.

The reporter asked how to stamp, etc., and the store replied: "If you do it well, it will help you stamp." One of the stores sold only 1 item per month. The reporter questioned its credibility. The store said: "We are not trading on Taobao, but WeChat transactions. If Taobao does not allow real transactions, the store will be closed."

A merchant named "Bohong Graphic Printing Office" provided WeChat called "Bohong Graphic". There is only one content in the circle of friends, which was released on August 15 this year. The content is: "Professional handling of various certificates." The picture shows: "Our company handles valid certificates from all over the country for a long time, and can make everything based on customer photocopy files. Credentials."

This shop has "magic powers". It can not only produce degree certificates for all school ages, but also "handle" second-generation ID cards, passports, social security cards, marriage certificates, military certificates, disability certificates, visas from various countries, etc., as well as constructor certificates , Teacher qualification certificate, accountant certificate and other professional qualification certificates.

The reporter asked about the price of the relevant certificate, and the customer service answered 240 yuan. If you buy multiple copies at a time, you can also get a discount of 220 yuan per copy.

Regarding industry qualification certificates such as construction engineers and accountants, the reporter asked how similar the fake certificates are to the real certificates. The customer service said: "It is highly similar. After it is done, take a photo for acceptance before shipping." The finished product will be stamped with the "official seal" of the relevant department.

The customer service said that for ordinary job hunting, choosing a 240 yuan ordinary certificate can meet the demand, but due to strict inspections and crackdowns, the forgery of certificates that can be checked on the official website is difficult and difficult to complete.

In fact, since the launch of Liangjian’s “2020” special crackdown, police in many places across the country have combined with the Ministry of Public Security’s deployment requirements to crack down on “fake seals, false official documents, and false documents” illegal and criminal activities, and have investigated and dealt with many cases of making false trade certificates. Illegal acts, among them, forgeries such as motor vehicle license plates, driving licenses, and ID cards are high.

According to Zhou Hao, a lawyer at Beijing Weiheng Law Firm, the reason why the business of illegal trading of forged documents is booming is essentially because there is demand. Whether he wants to satisfy his vanity or to deceive relatives and friends, Cao's purchase of forged admission notices is unjustified. Relevant departments should strengthen relevant education and guide young people to establish correct values.

China’s laws stipulate that anyone who forges, alters, sells, or steals, robs, or destroys official documents, certificates, or seals of state agencies shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention, surveillance, or deprivation of political rights; if the circumstances are serious, the punishment shall be more than three years. Fixed-term imprisonment for less than one year.

Zhou Hao said that forging the seals of companies, enterprises, institutions, and people's organizations, criminal suspects can be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention, surveillance, or deprivation of political rights, and a fine. Acts of forging, altering, buying and selling resident ID cards, passports, social security cards, driving licenses and other documents that can prove their identity in accordance with the law can be sentenced to criminal suspects up to three years in prison, criminal detention, surveillance, or deprivation of political rights, and Fines; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years and shall be fined.

Zhou Hao emphasized that criminal suspects who make certificates or forge official seals are generally suspected of fraud. The purchase of forged certificates does not constitute a crime, but the purchase of forged ID cards, driving licenses and other documents that can be used to prove identity are also suspected of crimes.

Zhou Hao suggested that Internet trading platforms can block products released by merchants suspected of such crimes by setting up sensitive words, or immediately close the shops involved when they find relevant situations. After all, the platform's supervision methods are limited, and the public security department should increase the cracking and punishment of such crimes. At the same time, the market supervision department should actively handle relevant complaints and use public security penalties for such violations and crimes to "strike early and beat minors."
