Manal Bint Muhammad: “Gender balance” has become a method of work and an institutional culture

Her Highness explained that the “Gender Data Bank” is a comprehensive national database of gender data, in federal and local authorities, disaggregated by gender. Her Highness affirmed that having data disaggregated by gender will help to identify the needs of each gender separately, and provide opportunities and needs. Based on the available data, in addition to introducing innovative policies, reviewing and amending the legislation supporting each of them, thus reducing the gender gap in various fields, such as education, work and health, which makes this project a reliable and accurate source of information that benefits the decision maker.

Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the progress achieved in the field of gender balance in the country's institutions, as it has become a work methodology and an institutional culture that supports the national vision and goals, noting that there are many positive statistics in these institutions that are documented annually by the Federal Competitiveness Authority.
