"We planned, we hoped, we persisted but in the end we still have to give up." After the cancellation of their annual festival, usually held at the end of August at the large park of Miribel-Jonage, near Lyon, the organizers of Woodstower had to throw in the towel again. They announced this Tuesday morning that they gave up organizing Saturday on the Fontanil beach "Woods on air", the reduced and free version of the festival imagined a few weeks ago to offer a festive day to the public despite the complicated health context.

“Unfortunately, in view of the too unfavorable evolution of the health situation, the conditions and requirements of the authorities for this type of event, and this despite meticulous work by our teams on the health measures and protocol, the current constraints do not allow us not to carry out the event as one had imagined it, specify the organizers in a press release.

Among the concerts and Dj sets scheduled for Saturday on the Miribel-Jonage beach, electro, funk or hip-hop artists, Poupie, Jäde, Oko Dj, Supergombo or even Ganache were expected.
