To encourage tourism ... an Italian city provides free accommodation for its visitors

One of the Italian cities is seeking to restore tourism by making an attractive offer to motivate tourists to come to it.

This was reported by the American agency "Bloomberg", referring to the Italian city of San Giovanni in the province of Milan, northern Italy, that provides free accommodation for the tourists who visit it at the present time.

The local residents of the city allow the tourists who come to the city at the moment to stay with them in their homes as part of a plan to encourage tourists to come to the city, which saves them the costs of staying in hotels.

The agency published a video clip that shows a city resident hosting a group of tourists visiting the city.

One of those in charge of this initiative in the city says that they have received about 8 thousand requests from several countries to come to their city, indicating that these requests are from many countries of the world, most notably America, France, Norway and Russia.

The initiative, which was launched on July 4, is scheduled to continue until October 3.
