Despite the unusual circumstances, due to the Corona pandemic, the Arts Center at New York University Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch its sixth season under the slogan "The Bridge", as a gift to Abu Dhabi's interconnected islands, which is scheduled to include many performances.
The Center's Executive Technical Director, Bill Bragin, explained that the new season is entitled "The Bridge", which expresses the nature of Abu Dhabi and the islands it includes that are linked together, as well as the role that the arts played during the "Corona" pandemic, especially during the ban period, as It formed a bridge for communication between peoples in different parts of the world, to mitigate the effects of isolation from people.
Bragin indicated, during a press conference held yesterday at a distance, that the center was keen to move quickly to play a positive role in these situations, and to play its role in community service, adding: “In light of the difficult conditions that have clouded the world due to the (Corona) pandemic and the economic decline "In many countries, we realized the importance of arts, a source of happiness and a bridge for communication, despite the isolation and distance imposed by the pandemic on people."

Bragin continued: “When distance becomes a condition for performance, it creates difficult challenges and constraints, but the Arts Center has been able to respond to these challenges and changes quickly, by relying on innovation and creativity. Our strong relationships with artists have allowed us to work together to reach creative ways of what is possible.
