CCTV News : Yesterday (23rd), the virtual reality (VR) screening unit of the 10th Beijing International Film Festival opened to showcase the charm of combining virtual reality technology with movies.

  A total of 18 works from 10 countries and regions were screened in this VR unit. The works are selected from the award-winning or official finalists of international film festivals such as Venice, Sundance, South by Southwest.

  From the crash experience in the movie "High Altitude" to the flying experience of "Room in the Sand", to the experience of flying into space in "Moon Landing", the audience is guided through the world, through the past and the future through virtual reality.

  The VR film screening of the Beijing International Film Festival will be held in the Starry Theater Village in Xicheng District, Beijing. The screening will last until August 29. The daily experience time is from 13:00 to 21:00.
