A fishing boat belonging to a fishing cooperative in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, which had been out of contact from 22nd, was found capsized off the coast of Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture on the afternoon of 24th. The Japan Coast Guard continues to search for crewmembers as one man, a crew member who was seeking help on the scene, was rescued.

We found the Haenawa fishing boat "Hakumaru" belonging to the Yaeyama Fisheries Cooperative in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture.

According to the Ishigaki Coast Guard Department, four people including the captain and other crew members were on board the “Hakumaru” on the 22nd, and I was planning to return to the Ishigaki fishing port on the 22nd, but the contact was lost, and the Japan Coast Guard I was continuing the search.

As a result, it is said that "Hakumaru" was found in a capsized state offshore west of Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture at about 4:40 pm on the 24th.

One man, a crew member on the scene, was asking for help, and the Japan Coast Guard helicopter rescued and transported him to the hospital.
