Among them, of the 16 Chinese short films shortlisted in the "Chinese Short Films" section, 11 were world premieres, 1 was premiered in Asia, and 2 were premieres in China.

  According to Xu Zhipeng, the curator of this event, "Focus on Hungary", as the featured unit of this exchange week, is a collaboration with Budapest Film Festival and selected 8 high-quality short films from Hungary.   The opening film of this year's exchange week is "Love in the Land" by the new director of "post-00" Hu Xiaomeng. With this film, Hu Xiaomeng won the Best Short Film Director Award at the Fourth China-Canada International Film Festival held in Montreal, Canada in 2019, and also won the Best Film Award at the 2019 Macau International Film Festival and the China-US International Film Festival Short Film Festival.
