The academic arrears deprive the university student (Hassan - Iraqi - 20 years) from continuing his educational career in the field of civil engineering at the University of Sharjah, which amounts to 26 thousand and 278 dirhams, after he finished 40 hours of study with a good grade, and his father stands unable to pay, and appeals to the good people Help him so that his son can continue his studies for the new year.

The disclosure issued by the University of Sharjah shows that Hassan has joined the College of Engineering since 2017, and his university registration has been suspended for the year 2019/2020.

"Abu Hassan" confirmed that his son stopped last year from completing his university career, due to the financial circumstances he faced.

He told «Emirates Today» that he has worked in a contracting company since 2011, and during his work he was able to collect an amount of money with which to fulfill the dream of his two sons (Hassan and Amjad) by joining them in the university majors that they have dreamed of since they were young.

He continued, "My son Hassan finished his academic education from the scientific department in 2017, and obtained a rate of 94%, and he told me that he wanted to complete his university education at the College of Engineering at the University of Sharjah."

He added, "During his early years at the university, I was able to save the cost of his studies, as I saved an amount of money that I paid to the university, and I never expected that a day would come when I would be unable to fulfill my son's basic rights in education."

He continued, "In 2019, my financial situation worsened, and I was unable to pay the university arrears that I fell on, so my son stopped continuing his studies."

He added: “I explained my financial situation to my son, after I was unable to pay, and that he will be deprived of continuing his education, and that my financial condition is expected to improve in the coming years, as I am looking for additional work that would be a source of income for my family, but fate wanted us to face circumstances that we did not expect. Because of the (Corona) pandemic, and the company I work for stops paying the salary. ”
