Afra Al-Sabri, Director General of the Office of the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, confirmed that the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence organized the conference "The Role of Women in Promoting the Values of Coexistence", under the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chair of the Family Development Foundation The Mother of the Emirates), the day after tomorrow, coinciding with the “Emirati Women's Day”, through visual communication technology, under the slogan “Predicting the contributions of women in the fiftieth”, which confirms the pride in the role of Emirati women.
With a prominent Arab and international presence, many global leaders from the United Nations Organization, UNESCO, and a number of Arab women leaders, in addition to Emirati women leaders, will participate in the conference, emphasizing the enhancement of the status of women and supporting their societal role as an ambassador for tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood, through three sessions. Al-Sabri said: “Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, is keen for the conference to appear in the image befitting of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, as the sponsor of the event, and the role of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence in promoting authentic human values, stressing on its continuous follow-up to every detail. The conference, which celebrates the successes of Emirati women in various fields, and the conference will shed light on the successes of Emirati women and their ability to achieve, as the conference is hosted by Mona Al-Marri, Director General of the Dubai Government Media Office, President of the Dubai Press Club, and Dr. May Al-Jaber, Chair of the Women's Health Initiative, who has dedicated Her professional life for the sake of public health, especially with regard to women, and she was and still is at the forefront of the ranks to confront (Covid-19), which will talk about their experiences, the role of (the mother of the Emirates) in empowering women, in addition to what women can contribute in general, and women Emirati women in particular, with regard to promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence at the level of societies, and their message for future generations.
Al-Sabri called on all groups, especially the various media, to participate in the event, and to contribute to the delivery of his message to the Emirati, Arab and international audiences in various languages, stressing that the conference will be broadcast through the ministry's community media, and via the YouTube channel, on the air, in Arabic and English, congratulating Emirati women, whether they are working to raise new generations in their homes, or those who advance the ranks in various fields of work on the occasion of "Emirati Women's Day."
Regarding the participations and the most important themes of the conference, Al-Sabri explained that “Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak directed to the importance of all groups having the opportunity to participate, whether from the generation of pioneers, the current female leaders, or the younger generation, in addition to his interest in broad global participation, represented by women leaders. Concerning the slogan of the conference, “Predicting the Contributions of Women in the Fifty-Year”, Al-Sabri stressed that “the conference is keen to highlight the real experiences of women that have influenced the development and renaissance of the UAE, to be evidence of the great successes of the experience of (Mother of the Emirates) in empowering women. Conference and Speakers Program
The conference includes three sessions: The first deals with "women and the values of coexistence and tolerance in the future", by clarifying the cycle of values formation in the individual, and the role of women (as mothers) in instilling and preserving authentic values. The second session was devoted to “monitoring the role of Emirati women in 50 years”, by highlighting their distinguished position and continuous achievements, and the efforts of (Mother of the Emirates) to empower women in various local and international fields, and the future prospects of Emirati women in the next 50 years, in which Hessa Buhumaid speaks, Minister of Community Development, Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the Women's Union, and Dr. Mai Al Jaber, Board Member of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy, as a successful model for the empowerment of Emirati women and their successes. The third session focuses on “programs and initiatives for empowering women to contribute to making the future,” in which Sarah Al-Amiri, Minister of State responsible for the file of advanced sciences, Mona Ghanem Al-Marri, Vice President of the Emirates Council for Gender Balance, Ambassador Jacqueline O'Neill, Ambassador of Women, Peace and Security in Canada, and Gabriela Cuevas Barron, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and a member of the Mexican Senate.
