Since the start of confinement, Pat Finnerty, an illustrious stranger from the State of Pennsylvania, has been organizing a show called The Pat Finnerty Show on Instagram Live. His concept: learn all the parts of a song chosen by his followers in record time. And in most of his videos, the musician can count on the company of an effigy of Dave Grohl in cardboard.

But last Saturday, Pat Finnerty had this crazy idea: to organize a 24-hour live stream dubbed Grohlathon in the hope of locating the artist and inviting him to play Money For Nothing with him. And after nine hours the miracle happened!

As cool as you imagine

It was first actor Andrew Sikking who joined the live stream, revealing a drum kit from which the leader of the Foo Fighters emerged. Pat Finnerty was then able to play with his idol and chat with him for long minutes.

“Grohl was as cool as I imagined him to be. All my life I have followed Grohl. In high school I listened to Nirvana all the time, ”he later told Rolling Stone .

From now on, Pat Finnerty hopes that this spotlight will allow him to develop his show. “I want to make her fatter to do cooler things because I have some absurd ideas and I think they will work,” concluded fan Dave Grohl.
