“Democracy among the frogs”, by Jérôme Tossavi (Benin)
By: RFI Follow
A neighborhood wants to silence the frogs, but from the bottom of their pond, they revolt. A fable in which humanity is also fighting against cyclones and a mysterious virus.
Publicity
Father and mother Frog are fighting against the andouilles. They croak, choke on laughter, but will have a lot of frog children. A play born on a sleepless night when the government wanted to requisition a village (the author's native village) to build a future airport! A farce as a response to the expropriation scandal.
On the proposal of Didascalies du Monde (Cotonou).
With : Marcel Mankita, Ydire Saïdi, Estelle Lesage, Frédéric Fachéna and Thissa d'Avila Bensalah. - Sound creation: Benoist Esté. - Voice: Catherine Boskowitz.
- Broadcast on RFI on Saturday August 22 at 3.10 p.m. GMT
Replay at 11:10 p.m. GMT.
