Procuratorates across the country resolutely implement the deployment of the central government, handle cases in strict accordance with the law, and eliminate evils. Since the launch of the special campaign against gangsters, as of the end of July this year, procuratorial organs across the country have approved 48,217 crimes involving gangsters and 141,713 people, and prosecuted 32,371 cases of 205,000 people. Among them, 9412 cases of gang-related crimes were arrested, 26,923 persons were arrested, and 5,270 cases were prosecuted, 57,828 persons were filed.
According to the person in charge of the Anti-triad Office of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate issued the "Main Points of Work of the Leading Group for the Suppression of Triad and Evil in the Supreme People’s Procuratorate in 2020," focusing on the key points of the "Ending Year", clarifying the "transition".
