In the early morning of August 18, the Nanning Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau, together with the public security agencies of Guangxi, Henan, and Hubei provinces, launched a centralized network collection operation in Guangxi, Hubei, Henan, and Yunnan, destroying 14 gangs involved and arresting 68 suspects. According to investigations, since 2018, smuggling gangs have signed false foreign trade contracts to export agricultural products such as mushrooms, fungus, tea and other agricultural products totaling 11 billion yuan, cheating export tax rebates of 1.43 billion yuan, and suspected money laundering amounted to 216 million yuan.
