[Explanation] A relaxing trip to Guizhou in 2015 allowed Shenzhen painter Wang Minghua to forge a "fate of painting" with children in Datang Village, Bingmei Town, Congjiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou. From 2017 to the present, under the leadership of Wang Minghua, the children have used brushes to paint the beauty of life and reap happiness. Their works documenting the ethnic characteristics of their hometown have also gone out of the mountains. Recently, the reporter came to Datang Village to record the summer painting training class held by Wang Minghua in the mountain.
At nine o'clock in the morning, Shenzhen painter Wang Minghua packed up the tools for teaching painting and walked from his home in Datang Village to Datang Elementary School for summer painting training for the children. What he taught the children today was sketching.

[Explanation] In 2015, when Wang Minghua was sketching from life in Datang Village, local children became curious about his work. From the beginning of his creation to the end, the children stood by him in groups and watched. This gave Wang Minghua a great deal Touched.

I said that this child likes this thing so much, it shows that he still has the pursuit of beauty in his heart, or at least a kind of curiosity about this, a kind of thirst for knowledge, I want to give me an idea under this situation. I can do it right here. With such a demand, I happen to have the time and energy to run an art class here, and give everyone a chance to get in touch with art education. It should be better.
[Explanation] After returning to Shenzhen, Wang Minghua discussed with his family and decided to close the painting training class that had been in Shenzhen for 20 years and rushed to Datang. With the support of his family, Wang Minghua only spent nearly a year settling in Datang Village.

After I went to university at a young age, I had the idea of supporting teaching in the past, but the conditions (at home) could not be fulfilled, but it has been buried in my heart. Some people said, Teacher Wang, did you make a lot of determination? I said that without me, there seems to be a natural way to come here.
[Explanation] After arriving in Datang Village, Wang Minghua quickly communicated with the person in charge of the local school and started a free painting training class. With nearly 20 years of experience in painting teaching, Wang Minghua, who came here, also combined with the actual situation of the local area. In addition to conventional painting knowledge teaching, he also developed painting courses that are more suitable for Dashan children.

When I teach here, I think if I teach here, I think it must be something based on the nation. Based on the local and based on the nation, so as to better reflect the things around us, so that it has more characteristics. Then the feelings presented to others and the feelings of the audience are refreshing.

When I first came in, I felt embarrassed in the classroom, but after these three years, I didn’t feel embarrassed anymore. At the beginning, I didn't see my hometown by myself. Now I am learning to draw with Teacher Wang, so I feel (my) hometown is very beautiful, and I feel very happy in painting with my friends.
[Explanation] After four years of free drawing teaching, more than one hundred children have successfully "graduated". The “Drum Tower of Dong Family” created by the children was selected for the 2nd National Children’s Art Exhibition not long ago. How to plan for the future, Wang Minghua also said that he will continue to teach children to paint, take them outside to learn, broaden their horizons, and help them realize their dreams.
