"On the Rocks" by Sofia Coppola with Bill Murray is revealed in pictures

Three years after her last film, Les Preies , but especially 16 years after the cult Lost in Translation , the director Sofia Coppola returns with a new film… and Bill Murray. The actor is indeed the star of On The Rocks , the story of a young mother (Rashida Jones, seen in Parks and Recreation ) who reconnects with her old playboy father (Bill Murray therefore) while her husband (Marlon Wayans) is very (too?) Absent. The first trailer was unveiled by independent studio A24, and from Tokyo to New York, you can feel a Lost in Translation vibe . To be confirmed when it is released in October at the cinema and on Apple TV + in the United States - no information yet for France.

On The Rocks is one of the first film productions from Apple, which signed a multi-film deal with A24, and Sofia Coppola's first collaboration with a platform. Another is already planned, the serial adaptation of the book The Beautiful Weddings by American author Edith Wharton, still for Apple TV +.
