  According to reports, at 17:21 on August 17, 110 received an alarm: an old man fell to the ground with injuries near Luoshui Market in Xingtan Town, Shunde District. After receiving the report, the police and medical staff rushed to the scene for treatment. After investigation, Luoshui villager Luo (female, 12 years old) took another villager Luo's dog that was kept in front of his house to play. The dog broke free of the restraint rope when he passed the Luoshui market. The dog rope accidentally moved Mai (female, 88 years old), a villager in the village, tripped, causing Mai to be injured and died.
