In Chiba prefecture, 32 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus announced on the 17th. Of these, it was confirmed that a female nurse in her 20s working at the Funabashi City Medical Center was infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Funabashi City, the nurse was working in a ward where patients with the new coronavirus were in hospital, wearing protective clothing and high-performance medical masks.
So far, the route of infection is unknown, but no one was judged to be a heavy contact person in the ward where the nurse worked.
