Myriam Dessaivre is one of eight victims of the August 9 attack in southwestern Niger. This 26-year-old woman from Toulouse worked for the NGO Acted, like five other French women and men killed by attackers on motorcycles with their Nigerien guide and driver.

A jackpot was launched by one of her friends she met during her studies at the Catholic Institute of Toulouse, in European communication and information license, as indicated by France 3 Occitanie.

Margaux explains that the funds collected will "finance the actions" of Acted, a humanitarian association. This Monday morning, more than 1,100 euros had been collected on the CotizUp platform.
