On August 16, Zhao Lian, deputy director of the Dalian Municipal Health Commission, stated at the Dalian epidemic prevention and control press conference that Dalian has conducted nucleic acid testing for all employees in the city, and conducted three rounds of nucleic acid testing for high-risk areas. Four rounds of nucleic acid testing and investigation were conducted in risk areas, and the results of the investigation showed that the "7.22" epidemic in Dalian was quickly and effectively controlled. As of 24:00 on August 15, Dalian City has had no new confirmed cases in the community for 14 consecutive days.
After consulting the national and Liaoning province’s disease control experts and submitting it to the provincial headquarters for approval, the municipal headquarters studied and decided that the Gongong Village community, Xianglujiao Street, Xigang District, Shengbin Community, Zhanqian Street, Jinpu New District, and Yangbin Street, Zhanqian Street Taoyuan communities in Jiacun and Xianjin Sub-districts were adjusted from medium-risk areas to low-risk areas, and Dalian Bay Sub-districts were adjusted to low-risk areas at 24:00 on August 15.
