Kagoshima Prefecture and Kagoshima City announced on the 15th that 15 new cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed.
A total of 15 people were newly confirmed to be infected, including 3 men and women in their 40s and 60s in Kagoshima City and 12 men and women in their 20s to 80s in Ibusuki City.
Of these, 14 were medical workers and patients at the "Sagara Hospital" in Ibusuki City, and the infection of a male medical worker in his thirties was confirmed in this hospital on the 14th. Kagoshima Prefecture requested the national government to dispatch a countermeasure group, assuming that a cluster of infected persons = cluster had occurred.
Up to now, 296 people have been infected in Kagoshima prefecture.
